REMODELING Magazine has named McClurg Remodeling & Construction Services the 59th largest full service remodeling company in the United States and second largest in Upstate New York.
In its August 2010 issue, REMODELING Magazine lists the 550 largest remodeling and home improvement companies in the U.S. based on 2009 residential remodeling revenue.

McClurg Remodeling and Construction Services today announced it made the 2009 Qualified Remodeler Top 500, an annual listing of the nation's largest remodeling companies based on annual remodeling revenues. McClurg ranked 210, an increase of 36 spots from 2008 when it ranked 246.
McClurg's higher ranking was attributed to its 10 percent growth in revenues compared to an eight percent decrease in total revenues for all Top 500 companies.
In addition, McClurg was named to this year's Qualified Remodeler Perennial Top 500, a list of 157 remodeling firms that have made the Qualified Remodeler Top 500 list at least five years in a row.

Scott McClurg, president of McClurg Remodeling & Construction Services, recently earned the national Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation, identifying him as one of the building industry's top professionals with skills and knowledge specific to the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry - home modifications for the aging-in-place. McClurg is one of only 41 CAPS professionals in New York State.
Through the CAPS program, McClurg has been trained to help retirees and older adults remain in their homes safely, independently and comfortably, regardless of income or ability level, and continue to live in a familiar environment throughout their maturing years. The CAPS curriculum incorporates a variety of information including communication techniques, common barriers and solutions, codes and standards, product ideas and resources, and common aging-in-place remodeling projects which range from installation of bath and shower grab bars and adjustment of countertop heights to creation of multi-functional first-floor master suites and the installation of private lifts and elevators.
The CAPS program was created by the RemodelorsTM Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in collaboration with the NAHB Research Center, NAHB Seniors Housing Council and the AARP to help home remodeling professionals meet the needs of the 77 million Baby Boomers who are now reaching retirement age. McClurg Remodeling and Construction Services has received the Chairman's Award of Excellence from the National Commercial Builder Council (NCBC). McClurg received the award in the Division 1 - Medical category for its construction of a new dental office for Dr. Gregory Mohr, D.D.S., at 8179 Cazenovia Road in Manlius, NY.
The Award of Excellence recognizes achievements in the national commercial building industry in design, market appeal, energy efficiency, challenges faced during building, and overall success of the project. McClurg's winning project will be featured in:

The Centers for Nature Education, Inc. at Baltimore Woods (CNE ) has recognized McClurg President Scott McClurg and the McClurg team for their volunteer services and leadership role in renovating the Hand House Headquarters at Baltimore Woods in Marcellus, NY.
