McClurg Remodeling & Construction Services today announced that nine additional employees have been designated U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certified Renovators for successfully completing training on Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting. They are:
Jayson Breckheimer
Paul Jones
Scott McClurg
Dan Olenych
Vince Petralito
Mike Pierik
Jim Pitts
Mark Waite

McClurg now has 28 employees who are EPA-certified for lead paint safety. The company is also an EPA Certified Renovator business.
The EPA certifications are required to perform work on any pre-1978 homes, since these homes may contain lead paint. Employees were trained on how to test for the presence of lead in paint, how to establish a safe work environment for workers and home occupants, and how to properly clean and remediate the work site.

When homeowners make the decision to bring in a home repair professional, they're looking for the job to be done right, finished in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. And, they often want to address several repairs at the same time, which may require different professional skills. To fill this need, McClurg Remodeling and Construction Services recently introduced "HomeRepair by McClurg."
"When homeowners can't find the time or don't have the skills or tools to tackle household jobs on their own, they should consider bringing in a professional," says Brian Ciota, Vice President of McClurg. "Often, our customers call us to handle multiple small projects which may be triggered by an emergency or built up over time. For example, we just finished a job where we fixed drywall cracks, painted a room, fixed a chair, replaced a light and interior door, and adjusted an exterior door."
HomeRepair by McClurg specializes in smaller projects and provides the same quality and service that customers have come to expect from McClurg, one of Central New York's leading remodelers. HomeRepair by McClurg uses the resources, experience and capabilities of McClurg to provide services from carpentry and painting to electrical and plumbing for homeowners and small businesses.
HomeRepair by McClurg uses a step-by-step process which begins with an appointment with a home repair consultant, followed by a project estimate, and finally a home repair coordinator schedules the project with a home repair technician. Customers also have the option to call HomeRepair by McClurg to get rates and a home repair coordinator will schedule emergency or hourly work. "This process, combined with our reasonable hourly rates, makes it very simple for customers to do business with McClurg and guarantee their satisfaction," says Ciota.
Headquartered in Marcellus, NY, McClurg has served the needs of Central New York homeowners and commercial customers for more than 30 years. For more information visit McClurgTeam.com.
